Josh Jurkosky



Josh is a multi-faceted guitarist raised in the Temecula Valley. After graduating from Great Oak High School, he initially began his studies at the USC Thornton School of Music as a classical flutist, but changed his major to Studio Jazz Guitar He received his Bachelor of Music and in 2018 graduated with a Masters Degree. He has studied with Frank Potenza, Pat Kelley, Bruce Foreman, Steve Trovato, and Bob Boss. Josh has performed a variety of genres in many different settings around Southern California. 

He  enjoys teaching and has taught summer guitar classes at the studio.

In August 2015 Joshua performed with his trio in Sherry Williams "Jazz at the Merc" concert series and this past Nov. with the Secondhand Brass Band in David Bradley's "Speakeasy at the Merc".
