About the Studio

Susan Miyamoto has been teaching music in Temecula since moving here in 1989. In 2000, Susan opened her private studio- Miyamoto Music Studio,  in the Southcreek Mall to offer a variety of educational opportunities for teachers and students and to further the Arts in the Temecula area. She had a dream of having the best to offer without the constraints of being an employee of an another entity.

The studio is well known in the Temecula Valley for having teachers that are dedicated, highly qualified, and passionate about music and teaching. They take pride in their teaching and students' accomplishments.  Many belong to professional organizations such as MTAC (Temecula Valley and Riverside branches), MTNA, CAPMT and TVMTA.  These organizations offer ongoing professional development (growth) as well as many programs and recitals which can help motivate and provide goals for their students. You can be assured that you or your child to the best of their ability, will receive a solid foundation in their music studies.

Many teachers also perform regularly and are members of performance groups such as the Temecula Valley Symphony, Southwest Women’s Chorus, etc.

The studio has been offering early childhood music classes through the City of Temecula’s Community Services for almost 20 years. Susan Miyamoto is now a licensed Musikgarten teacher and will be offering classes in 2016. A piano class for 4-5 years olds, using the award winning “Music for Little Mozart" series, is now being formed!

Studio Safety Policy: Students may be dropped off, but should be picked up promptly after their lesson, unless special arrangements have been made with their teacher.  It is not the responsibility of the studio to supervise children outside of their lesson time.
